HMO

The next house was told and converted to HMO. By the time I opened the letter from the council informing me, it was too late (they had finished the work and had people in).

But now it seems they are loud which is very out of place of our street - it's a very very quiet cul se sac.

I am wondering if there is anything I can do apart from reporting the noise. I rather have it as a family home. The council can't revert the HMO license, can they?

Yes, you can report for noise and keep noise diaries etc.

But you can't be a NIMBY and complain about the fact it is a HMO per se. The council will have made their own assessment.
