We briefly considered it (may not have been Guardian but similar concept) it was very heavy and we were concerned the hardwood conservatory might not take the weight. In the end we replaced the whole conservatory and had a glazed roof that had some sort of solar glass that reflects some of the heat. It still gets hot but not as bad as before.

Hi, Sorry to jump on this, but we're considering getting a conservatory to use as a dining room and we've been quoted for this fancy solar glass that's supposed to make it usable all year round. Before we part with nearly 20k (life savings!), we're trying to figure out if this is indeed the case.

Can I ask if the room's generally usable all year round? And what kind of heating do you have in it? Thanks so much!
