Electric heaters and curtains?

Our new house has rointe low consumption electric heaters throughout, in the dual aspect lounge there are french doors one side and a window the other. The electric rad is underneath the window, so I'm struggling to know what to do in regards to curtains.

I can't imagine having full length on the french doors and sill length of the window, but I also can't imagine having blinds only looking that homely.

Help please! I was considering get an electrician to relocate the heater but I can't imagine anywhere else in the room it can go without obstructing furniture.

Have a blind and then add floor length dress curtains to the window to match the curtains you have on the French doors.

Have a blind and then add floor length dress curtains to the window to match the curtains you have on the French doors.
Would I then need to add a blind to the french doors too? I am not good at picturing these things!

You don't need a blind at the French doors, have useable curtains there.

If you have a blind made in the same fabric as the curtains it will look good.
