Any ballpark figures for the following:

New kitchen
New bathroom

Both budget end. Recommended companies?

Plus retiling for both kitchen/bathroom - average sized rooms

We were:

7k for complete kitchen rip out and refit (howdens units)

3k for complete bathroom rip out and refit (bog standard white 3 piece suite), tiling & flooring included as we didn't want wetwall

Probs budget a bit more as we didn't need electrics done as had already rewired

Yep all in, local plumber who does kitchens / bathrooms

How is your plumbing, electrics etc ? Plastering, flooring? If they need to be replaced, think much more.

The numbers above seen very low indeed but I guess it'll depend where you are.

I would have said 10k for kitchen and 5 for bathroom

I would probably have a pot of £20-25k for bathroom/kitchen total refit, flooring and tiling etc, and anything else that might crop up.
