Last moved 14 years ago to an vacant house and as title thread suggests I have no idea what is or should be happening at this stage. Current situation is we made an offer that was accepted 8 weeks ago. Surveyor only going on Monday ( huge backlog of work!) to do full structural survey, or seller has found a house but their seller hasn’t. Conveyancer done nothing except request searches ( getting SD deadline critical properties over the finish line first, and our estate agent ( also our sellers)has only made contact twice since we had offer accepted and sold our house. I am trying to be patient but my last 3 moves (many moons ago) were maximum 8 weeks from start to finish. Shortest was only 5 weeks!
