South coast best value?

If you wanted to live on the south coast somewhere, close to the sea but not typical "holiday" vibe, and wanted a three bed house for under £350k, where would you look?

Anywhere from Devon to Kent!

St Leonard's!

Anywhere on the Solent, from edge of New Forest/say Hythe round to Portsmouth would easily get that. Isle of Wight would get that too.
Definitely not a typical holiday vibe in the main 😁

Southsea.

Lee on Solent.

Lee on Solent or around Hill Head. Hamble, Netley area. New Forest but that's pricier

Southsea

Assumed Hampshire would be expensive...cheaper than I thought!

Southsea is great but for a three bed you'd have to go further north into Portsmouth for that price.

Another vote here for Southsea! We moved here four years ago and love it - its much more diverse than many seaside places and has a good range of shops, bars, restaurants etc. Also the students and academics from the university living n the area give it a good vibe; not full of old people like lots of seaside places!

For £350,000ish you can get a terraced house within 10 or so minutes walk to the sea and a similar walk to the theatre/ library/ Southsea shops, Waitrose etc.
