Buyer coming to measure up

Hi- we are in Scotland and our missives are signed (exchanged) the buyer is coming round next week to measure up for things- no problem with that :) they also want to discuss buying any items in the house

But I'm thinking- do I need to make the house "viewing ready"?! We have started to pack so there's boxes in every room- do I need to make the noise spotless for her coming?

Never sold before so appreciate your advice!

We didn’t, we asked the agent to warn them that the dining room was full of boxes and left them to it. It was tidy, but lived-in tidy not open-day-viewing tidy!

No, it’s fine, their house is probably the same!

My buyer has already been round to measure up, no I didn't do anything special for them. I figured they were already invested !

Of course not! they just need access to walls for measuring, not coming to inspect how clean the house is!

Thanks all!
