Buyer pulled out two weeks ago!

Okay sorry but I just need a bit of a rant and rage. My buyer has pulled out of purchase. I understand these things happy and whilst I'm obviously peed off about that it turns out they pulled out two WEEKS ago when they decided to offer on another property!!!!

Their solicitor didn't contact mine. Their agent didn't contact mine either. So nobody told anyone. We just assumed that with end of stamp duty everyone was probably busy so we just let everyone get on with it and not been hassling anyone but they didn't know anything anyway.

Grrrr the system in England really does need a big change.

So annoying! On the other side I had my last seller pull out a few weeks ago due to ill health - can't be helped, but we had done everything possible to make the stamp duty deadline. Yesterday he said he was better and prepared to move ahead! Sorry - missed deadline and I amazingly found a cheaper and in better condition house. But crap system- you can spend £££ and have nothing to show for it.

It's just so annoying isn't it. If they had said straight away at least I could have got house ready to go back on market. We are moving together into DPs house so at least no chain to worry about but it would have taken a quick email from someone to at least let us know.
