I've got planning permission to change my existing kitchen into a utility room and then build a new kitchen diner on the back. But I don't have the money yet so its on the back burner for a year. In the meantime I'm looking for ways to improve my current kitchen and mainly increase storage but by making changes that will eventually form part of the new utility room.

I'm looking at a tall larder unit from Wickes' off the shelf range which is £140 but im confused about the doors. The unit is 2190mm high so I thought I'd get door 1 at 1319mm, door 2 and 731mm and then an infill thing at 131mm. Leaves a 9mm difference. Is that how it works? Hmm

I don't know the exact unit you mean, but are you including the legs/ plinth?

You need small gaps to let the doors open easily
