Hi All, I need some help... my partner and I live in a rural part of Essex but we are thinking of moving to Norfolk as you seem to be able to get more property and land for your money. We love quiet villages surrounded by fields etc but do like to have a local shop and to be near a small town perhaps. My youngest starts school this September and my eldest is currently in secondary. We are viewing a property in Watton this week but I think it may be slightly busier than what we want however there are schools close by. I wondered if anyone can help advise of some villages that I should look for and any that perhaps I should avoid? Also any options of what it's like to live in Norfolk would be appreciated

Norfolk is lovely, it does have reasonable property prices too.
It has appalling public transport though.

I'd look at the school situation ,it wasn't too long ago that all/ most of the schools were in special measures according to the news. I'd check to see if that had changed.

It is beautiful there .
