Me again! First time buyer so still not sure of timings. We are hoping to complete by end of July.
We sent our enquiries 12 days ago and waiting on replies and are waiting for mortgage deed to be sent through.

Mortgage offer approved, all searches complete, survey done and contracts signed.

Do we look like we are on track for end of July? How long does it normally take from this point?
We are in a chain of three; FTB buying our house, us and then our seller's moving in with family.

In theory yes you are close but who knows how long it'll take it's all down to how fast the solicitors work.

Thank you! We are definitely a pain with all our messages to them but hopefully it will be doing the job 😂 we only put the offer in 6 weeks ago so that's good!

Yes if the answers to the queries are satisfactory. You could well complete before the end of July if everyone agrees.

Our vendor needs to complete by the end of July and our searches aren't due back until this Friday; hoping we are just about on track (unless searches generate any tricky enquiries, everything else is good to go) and you are ahead of us!

I've seen people on here exchange and complete within a week of getting searches back, and I've seen people have it drag on for months trying to get last enquiry bits tied up. Unfortunately it appears to be 'how long is a piece of string'.

We're in a similar situation to you except only 2 enquiries outstanding (nothing complicated) and our solicitors have said mid-July is achievable so fingers crossed!
