Building/Refurb Project Manager needed please

Hello,
I am looking for a (very good) PM to drive us through the extension and refurb our tired home needs (in London,Kentish town)
This will be a fairly large project ( I hope no more than 250k build cost though) and we have a pretty good idea on what we want (but not the details and technical things)
So we can use an architectural technician for drawings etc.
But as we have no experience, we would like someone to help us throughout the process to avoid making mistakes, minimise costs and time and someone who would be on site regularly.

Is there any project manger you would whole heartedly recommend please?

Hate to be the doomsayer but that's a small build cost at the moment and there aren't any bloody bricks. Literally. You're going to wait a while.

A local building surveyor could provide this service for you. A look on the RICS website might be a useful start
