Rendering

My neighour is threatening to render the house attached to mine. These are Victorian brick semi-detached houses. The Local Authority say he might need housing permission. he hasn't applied for it. But they can't stop him doing it. They can only act when he has breached the planning rules. it will all be too late by then. The scaffolding has gone up. The house will be ruined tomorrow and there is nothing I can do. Has anyone else had experiences like this? GH

You can call the planning enforcement team perhaps?

Thanks Pragmatic Wench. The enforcement team say they can do nothing until he he has actually sloshed the rendering all over the house - ie when there is a breach. They say that they cannot do anything to stop him committing a breach.......
