Bifold Doors Cost

Hi All, has anyone had bifold doors fitted recently in the South East? Can you tell me how much they cost to supply and fit? (Including any extra support that needed to be fitted into the wall). I’m thinking about installing them approx. 5m wide and would like to know what ball park figure to expect!

I’ve just had some fitted. Same size, part of a building project so builders built to the specification and steels already done etc. So, just for the doors and fitting they were £6000 including internal blinds.
Love them 😃

£4200 for doors supplied and fitted, 4.2m wide. Extra for the steel and builder preparing opening - part of a larger project so unsure of exact cost of this, but another quote we had for the steel and preparation was £1500.

Approx 1k per panel

As above, we were basically charged a grand per metre width, fitted, for basic aluminium bifolds. This would vary a bit based on how posh your doors were, if you needed very tall doors etc.

Any structural work would be on top of this and much harder to quantify. How much load is on the wall? What is the access like (e.g. can a big Steel be easily brought in or are there lots of steps etc. meaning a crane might be needed?) Are the existing foundations adequate for the additional load, or is some strengthening/underpinning needed where the steel beams are supported?
