Moving Day

Due to move next week in a chain of 4, cash buyer then my buyer my self and my vendor moving into rented. How do we all physically move out for when keys released. First time so please be helpful. Were only moving a mile down the road.,

Your removers or if you’re doing it yourselves clear the house
You will wait for a call from your EA who will let you know when funds have been received and then keys can be collected from them
It may be lunchtime or afternoon dependent on how quick it all goes

You pack up everything and clean before 11am, you then sit and wait in cars/trucks until the sale completes, if you are lucky late morning (ours was through at 11.15 am last year). Sometimes previous owners wait until you arrive before leaving but more commonly you pick up the keys from the estate agent.
