Bathroom renovation gone wrong!

My bathroom fitter has done an amazing job, however I'm left with no fan and no light in the bathroom! His quote included replacing fan and light from spot lights to single light. When he came to replace said electrical fittings he couldn't get them to work. Neither of us can get an electrician to come out. He has come back today to do some more work in the bathroom that wasn't quoted for because of a issue that arose during the fitting. Where do I stand with the electrics not working in there? Is it his responsibility or mine?

If you need an electrician you need an electrician. As to who should pay - why did he think he could do it in the first place? Find out how much an electrician will charge and maybe go halves? You might have better luck find one through an 'handyman' outfit that has a team of tradespeople doing small jobs.
