Selling my fil house through probate and just wondered what sort of questions should we be getting from an estate agent? Should they be getting most of the house info from online or other sources or do they get it all from the sellers?

Ours looked our house up before coming round.

Asked us what price we were looking for etc - I said I'll let you know after you give me your valuation 😂

They looked round, we told them anything we'd done since buying it etc

They didn't ask you what your house was constructed from?

Your solicitor will ask loads of questions like that on a series of long long forms. If you don’t know the answers just say so.

Estate agents will want to know anything that will help sell the house - if it's got a new boiler or allocated parking, stuff like that.

Solicitors will have the long list of questions about the property. If you Google TA6 property information form, you'll be able to find a sample form which will give you the questions but don't worry if a lot of it is "don't know" people are a bit more forgiving if you don't know the answers when it's a probate sale.
