Which did you prefer, Corian or Quartz?

If you've tried Corian and Quartz worktops, which did you like best?

I feel Quartz would look best and maybe be easier to take care of but Corian might be quieter with people putting down cups, plates etc. Is Quartz noisy?! We've not tried either so I might be wrong!

I had corian in old house, quartz now.
The decision was partly aesthetic... Plain white in old kitchen, marble-look quartz now.
I like the lack of joins in corian. Both have worn equally well and clean up easily despite both being pale. I suppose the quartz is noisier but not that noticeable

I never noticed quartz being noisier. I too like the seamless sink you can get with corian (and other reconstituted stone). Quartz is cheaper isn't it?
