I'm pretty sure you get them in various lengths from Omnitub Smile

My 6'2 partner loves them, even proper little ones!

I really wanted one, but apparently we would have had to reinforce the floor.

RandomCatGenerator · 21/06/2021 19:55

Oh goodness why would you have to reinforce the floor, @SuperSecretSquirrels?

I think it's because the weight if the bath + water + person is in a smaller space therefore more pressure on the joists, etc. I tried to convince 6ft 5 fh and he was having none of it. I'm just over 5 ft so too short for a normal bath.

SuperSecretSquirrels · 21/06/2021 20:15

Yes, what @LucysSkyDiamonds said. Too much load in too small a space. But we were looking at a beetle traditional but be, whereas the likes of omnitub are more like hot tubs so the load would be spread out more.

The Omnitub Solo Deluxe is a full length 1800mm bath but approx double the internal depth of a normal bath. There are videos on the website and the Facebook page showing a tall man (it tells you on there how tall he is, think 6' 2" but can't remember exactly) getting into each size of bath so you can roughly tell the size.
We have a very small bathroom so need a short bath and plan to get the Solo Ultra which is 1500mm long but still double depth.
