Wet ink signature, can it be signed with a ballpoint pen?

Grin Sorry, this is the first time I come across this term - "wet ink signed" - so need to clarify. I know it has to be signed with a pen. My question is if it has to be signed with a fountain pen or it can be a ballpoint pen?

Ball point is fine.

Fountain pen won't do either! You'll need a quill and ink pot Grin

Any pen is fine. Just means they need the actual pen on paper signature, not scanned or digital signature.

Smile Yes, that's what I guessed, just wanted to make sure not to make arse of myself.

It just means it can’t be digital. That’s all.

Any pen is fine, but do it in black ink. Many firms/organisations reject other colours as they claim the scanner doesn't scan any other colour properly.

Nor in pencil (yes, some people do sign important/legal documents in pencil!).
