Who else I waiting to exchange?

I am loosing my mind. Was supposed to be exchanged by Friday just gone and .......... nothing. We are supposed to be completing 2 July. Small chain of 3 we are in the middle. We first sold in September and then again January We have had two chain collapses days before exchange twice both times there was issues with other houses in chain resulting in collapse. We resold to ftb on 19th March. Hoping we can exchange this week. Our solicitors are sooooo slow though!

Did you not ring your all to chase on Friday?

@ApplesandBananas21 yes I chased it up Wednesday to make sure it was still going to be this week. Solicitor was out of office so left a message and emailed her directly had a response Thursday afternoon after emailing again which stated that she was still awaiting a date to exchange from other parties even though her email the week before said complete 2nd July had been agreed by all parties and exchange would be done by Friday just gone. I then tried to call and email Friday to see what on earth was going on and have been ignored again. This is not new. I would never use them again they have been awful

Do you know what's the reason for delay, OP - which part of the chain?

It really helps to contact your agent for this if solicitor is slow, but it's likely that if they could exchange, they would - must be another party who caused the delay so yours probably couldn't do much about it hence not explaining. Still poor that they don't respond, but Fridays aer notoriously busy at solicitors. Don't complete on a Friday.
