Fly killer

Anyone have any recommendations for an effective (and ideally discreet) way of dealing with indoor flies other than spray? Is that even possible? Some of the electric fly killers look effective but also super ugly and channel the butcher shop look though I still might be tempted...

I suspect I might sound a bit batshit crazy here but I never kill flies. Not for ethical or moral reasons but because I truly believe that for every fly you kill, 5 come in for the funeral.

So, I deal with them on a one by one basis and shoo them out as necessary. Yes it's nuts and yes my fly-shoo dance is a thing to behold. But the bottom line is that I don't get many flies in my house.
(I also take the obvious precautions about uncovered food and the likes.)

Hmm thanks but the thing is I just hate the relentless buzzing and the unclean feel of them. My own fly-shoo dance is depressingly ineffective. I just want to keep windows open without having to deal with the winged masses.

put mosquito netting over the windows?

fly paper does work too, if you can put in a room where you are not listening to them buzz.

Red Top fly traps well away from the house should hopefully direct them elsewhere x

DH bought a butcher shop fly killer. My goodness it's effective if gross. I may have hidden it in the garage

Spiders.

@PurBal

Spiders.
I like and am kind to spiders but really they aren't pulling their weight here Wink
