Paint for front door.

I’m planning to paint my solid wooden front door. I’d like a deep green colour. I’m a big fan of F&B but am hesitant about how it will withstand constant use. I can’t really find a particularly nice shade.
Can anyone suggest any?

You're right to have some concerns about using F&B for a front door- I have tried it previously and it got tatty very quickly. I'm using the Dulux Heritage range a lot at the moment, and I'm really liking the quality of the paint, although I haven't used it on a front door- yet! They have a colour called Mallard Green, which is a very deep, dark green.

Try Empire Green by Johnstones. (not Empire Jewell)

Wildwood6 Ah thats what I feared. It isn't a hard wearing paint.
I like the Mallard Green but is there blue in it?
Empire green is also nice.
