IKEA smastad Loft bed

Can anyone tell me if this takes a standard single mattress? Not clear from the website

Not totally sure, but don't IKEA beds usually need European size mattresses? Think they're slightly longer and possibly a different width too.

You'll need an IKEA mattress. They are longer than a standard single.

Just checked. It needs a 200x90cm mattress. A standard single is 190x90. I guess you could use 1 if need be but there'll be a gap.
