Hi, been quoted £1600 for around 12m square hallway floor, 4-5 days work, Victorian style but not fancy small ones just the quarry tiles laid with a pre cut border, this includes laying and buying plywood for about £140, and all the adhesive and grout. tiler has come to the house two times in the morning to look at the space and he picked up samples etc so I would hate to change now as feel he’s already put in some work, however I am getting worried that this is a bit steep as I didn’t get any other quotes, can anyone please advise if this is normal? Like I say I would feel awful changing tiler but also I’m usually very savvy with my money and don’t want to pay more than usual! Thanks
