Hi,
We are looking to move into the area near the sunbury station. Can someone who has lived/ living in the area please give some insight of the area in respect to house prices (although the market is very hot atm) nursery, primary and secondary schools, safety, high street, neighbourhood etc.
Your assistance will be very appreciated as unsure if it would be right decision for us as a family.
Thank you

Good luck and all the best. i have rang a few schools for more information, hoping someone that lives in the area and has kids in any of the schools will advise on here.

Hi Dalia24

There are several primary schools in Sunbury, I would ring Surrey and find out what schools have places first. There are lots of schools both primary and secondary, but they take children from quite a broad area, so can get full quickly.

Chennestone and Springfield have been popular, ask parents at school pick up what they think if you don't mind the direct approach. A visit usually gives a good feel but you may find they will only do this if they have places esp at the moment. I know a parent happy with Chennestone and also Kenyngton Manor, but depends on child and their needs.

Springfield is in the same road as several secondary schools and that area can be super busy at drop off and pick up. Again lot kids from Ashford go to Sunbury Manor, so busy area.

You are central to getting to pretty much anywhere. Some nice walks, the river and not far from kingston for shopping. The train line is not the fastest but you are close to other areas you can get into London fairly quickly if needed.

Hope some of that helps.
