Police won't do anything he has paid for most the work just not the additional 3.500 as yet so the builder has destroyed work that has been paid for plus what hasn't been paid for

Surely it's criminal damage? This is way beyond a dispute. The police have got a lot to answer to.

Utter madness on the part of the builder! Fingers crossed the home owners insurance will get the building habitable for them.
