North Worcester

We are considering a big move, to the Worcester area. We'd need to be north / north east of the city, with access to M5/M42.

We are just putting out feelers at the moment, have no idea about traffic etc or which areas are nice.

We'd be looking for semi rural; a village shop ideally but not essential. Which areas are nicest? House prices are less than where we'd be moving from so mercifully
not a huge consideration.

Hanbury, Ombersley, Hartlebury, Holt Fleet, Hallow for villages... Fernhill Heath for more Worcester connected.

I don't like Wychbold - M5 runs too close.

Droitwich if you want a small town though I grew up nearby and always thought it was a dull place!

I like Bournheath (great pubs!) and Belbroughton.

Thanks so much, that's really helpful for places to start. It's so nerve wracking.

You can have my house in Hartlebury - can’t sell it for love nor money Wink

What size of house are you after? New or old? Do you need schools?

OhWifey · 09/06/2021 21:33

Thanks, we would be looking for 4 bedrooms. Schools not an issue so don't need to be in catchment

Should add definitely detached and with a good size garden

What’s your budget? Village or town? Crowle, Tibberton (quite close to motorway), Himbleton, Ombersley, Claines, Fernhill Heath?

Upton Snodsbury also nice, Inkberrow and Hanbury a little further.
