Marble fireplace

I have a fireplace which is painted with white gloss, I was told it is black marble underneath!! I'd like to strip.it and see what it's like, Has anyone ever done this?

Marble is soft and porous. It scratches easily. Find out how to do it properly before you start

You want the strippers of sudberry website (Google carefully). They sell a big range of products for removing pretty much everything from everything else and will advise on the best product
