Farrow and ball light blue? Or the paler one borrowed light?

MindatWork · 03/06/2021 20:50

It looks pretty similar to Laura Ashley Pale Sea Spray - it’s a lovely colour, we have it in our living room.

I think it looks like F&B borrowed light or skylight

SwedishEdith · 03/06/2021 20:53

Craig and Rose Swedish Blue?

Konga · 03/06/2021 20:57

Yes, I think F&B skylight too.

HomelyK · 03/06/2021 21:17

Thanks so much everyone the farrow and ball colours are similar tone but all very pale (I have looked at these already) but I have just ordered Swatch of their new California haze colour and MindatWork I have ordered a sample of that as it looks ideal. Do you have a photo of how it looks in your lounge? X

@HomelyK will take a pic tomorrow so you can see in daylight. We’ve a north facing living room so didn’t want anything too cold.

Qc16 · 03/06/2021 22:33

Could be LG bone China blue or Bone China Blue Mid.

Most of the big manufacturers like Dulux will do a scan and match a colour for you at the bigger stores who do trade colours. They will scan a colour sample, a fabric, whatever.

Looks a lot like Little Greene Bone China / Bone China mid as a PP said - really nice pale blue that feels fresh rather than cool.

HomelyK · 04/06/2021 09:13

Bone China blue looks greeny gray? This room is south west facing so any greeny tinge becomes more so and a powder blue becomes silver ... So hard to find one that works with the light. Has anyone used LG delicate blue as online that looks the right shade?

My kitchen cupboards are LG bone China. South-facing room, no greeny tone at all. Really lovely colour.

@HomelyK Here’s the LA pale sea spray in daylight. It looks slightly different from different angles (id say it has slightly yellow tones?)

OP, check out Dulux Peppermint Candy. Sounds like it will be green, but isn't. I have it in my kitchen, it's lovely, and very much like that pale blue. I've put the link below with some trepidation because the pictures make it look very bold - in reality, it's much softer.

ApolloandDaphne · 05/06/2021 13:04

F&B Pavilion blue is actually a pale green/blue which might fit the bill., Our kitchen is painted in it. I will see if I can get a good picture.

ApolloandDaphne · 05/06/2021 13:05

It's maybe too green
