Stopping delivery men using my step as a shortcut ideas

Ideas please. I live in a new build where my drive / parking space comes up to my from step. I have a tiny bit of land next to the step joining into my neighbours. Problem is, whether I have mail or not, every chuffing delivery person is using my step / mini plot of garden as a shortcut. I have already had my back bumper scuffed. So I need ideas please to stop people using this as a shortcut. I can only think of planting a Holly type bush ( which will take time to grow ) so I'm wanting other ideas please. Thanks

Try a Berberis. They can be quite uncomfortable to deal with.

Canes in a tripod shape will be quick and visual. Probably the easiest and cheapest way.

Big pot with a standard fuchsia /box ball/holly

Plant a rosebush in a tallish planter. Or buy one of those tiered planters which would be awkward to manouvre round.
A few examples.

Or place this towards your front step so totally blocking off access & create a nice side display
