Repairing scratches in this floor

Hi, can anyone help me remove or at least reduce the appearance of these scratches? It's engineered wood floor. Hopefully the pics will upload. They're really pissing me off.

Can't afford to get the whole floor resanded and finished.

Can't sand and finish the whole floor myself as I'm heavily pregnant and can barely walk up the stairs now lol.

Have tried lightly spot sanding an inconspicuous part of the floor and it's made it lighter so I don't want to do that.

Do these wax kit things really work?

Any tips welcomed!

Oiled although it's well overdue an oiling! Was concerned if I oiled over the scratches it will make them even darker?
