We’ve had an offer accepted on a house that has been renovated to sell - a flipped house basically. One of things we’ve been provided with is a 20 year guarantee relating to cavity drainage membrane / rising damp. The work seems to have been carried out by a reputable company. We will ask what specific problems they identified and if they have a damp survey they can share with us too.
Just wondered if anyone has any experience of this work on a Victorian house? Google brings up lots of information about basements but this house doesn’t have a basement.
