Hello! My husband and I are moving from Winchester to Warwick with our 3 month old and know nothing about the area! To those that live or have lived there, where are the best locations for a young family? Tia :) x

Look at schools - I'm assuming state but there are fantastic private schools - primarily the warwick school foundations. if it has to be warwick then coten end primary is popular, but a massive traffic bottleneck. There are massive newbuild estates - warwick gates is popular for families and heathcote primary is popular but very small catchment area.

you get more house for the budget in warwick but I prefer north leamington - it's 10 minutes drive in it, but I prefer north leamington.

warwick is a medieval walled town hence traffic is a massive issue. also pressure on parking. If you are commuting by rail you may wish to look at services from warwick parkway. The myton road estates are great for families - but traffic at the school run time is dreadful.

Nurseries are great in this area, as are most primaries (one or 2 horrors).

It depends on your budget, if you need to be walking distance to amenities or happy to drive.
