Fence, my problem?

Long story v short. My neighbour took down my fence to do wirk on her property and put it back up badly.

She refuses to pay for the repairs it now needs.

It's not standing up well in this wind. If it falls into her garden am I liable for any damage given she erected it?

It's a £700 repair, I've had quotes. I'm peeved.

(She also caused more than £5k damage at the front. You can imagine my low level of sympathy....)

What did she do at the front?
There must be some legal way to recover the money from her surely, have you sought legal advice?

Yes, it's v long winded. In the meantime it is windy!

I just don't want the fence to blow away or something, hit her or her property and then I'm liable. She (well her tradespeople ) put it up like that and left it in bad condition, but it is 'mine'....

Do you have photos of before / after? Why is she refusing?

Check your home insurance, many have legal cover - then get solicitors involved.

I hate people who take advantage of kindness like this.
