I have a nice kitchen. however the granite worktop is a dark colour and makes the kitchen look quite gloomy. I can't afford to replace the worktop, and to be honest there is nothing wrong with it. I would just prefer a lighter colour to brighten the room.
I have seen a few companies offering quartz overlays, where they measure and install a thin layer of new quartz worktop on top of your existing worktop.
Does anyone know how much these type of products/services cost? They say they can fit within a day. My worktop is about 4m in length.
