Has anyone taken their Quooker tap when moving house

Just this really. We want to replace with a normal tap and take with us to new home. Is it as simple as getting a plumber in to remove and then retrofit to new kitchen? Thank you in advance.

I haven't done it. But I have taken light fittings, ironmongery, etc. I knew of someone who took their Aga and another who took the water softener. Don't see why it wouldn't be doable.

I was just thinking of similar when we do building works shortly. I want to buy expensive light switches and sockets. However, I’ll do it on the basis that I’ll replace them with similar (but much cheaper) fittings before putting the house on the market in a few years 😂

I’d take your Quooker, as long as it’s clear that a) it’s excluded from the sale and b) it isn’t obvious that it’s been removed (I.e. the replacement tap fits perfectly in the worktop).
