Help - management company doesnt exist anymore?

We are in the process of buying and selling, we are hoping to complete in 10 days, one of the few queries outstanding is our solicitor asking for the rentcharge statmements for our purchase. Their solicitor has said they enquired but "no service charges have been sought"

The house we are selling has a management company too but they are easily contactable and we have sorted this for our buyers.

We are on a big estate currently with a park and green to maintain. The house we are buying is a small private cul de sac of around 8 houses with a private road and visitor parking area to maintain.

We tried looking up the management company online but im not sure it exists anymore, it seems impossible to contact them.

Who will maintain the area if the management company doesnt exist anymore? How can we move forward with the purchase?

If anyone has any advice or experience with this we would be grateful!

How odd, have you asked the buyers if they're paying a service charge currently?

Yes, they are not paying anything and never have for the 3 years they have been living there!
