Arborfield

I recently asked for some advice on another location and got some very useful replies. We have now broadened our search for a new home and recently visited Arborfield in Wokingham near Reading. Any first hand experience/advice on the place? How are the secondary schools? Thanks!

Arborfield is nice, quiet suburb of Reading. Used to be a big army presence, less so now.
Secondary schools there's the Holt/Forest, they're single sex. Forest is in Requires Improvement at the moment, not sure about the Holt. Then there's Emmbrook and St Crispin.
My question would be what will the commute be like for your teenager - will they be restricted to a school bus for example?

Thank you! That's useful. My daughter isn't due to start secondary till 2023. But I don't want to move again any time soon.
