Moving to Newbury, best areas/no go areas

Hello, we're looking to buy in Newbury and not very familiar with the area, would it be possible to get some advice please? we found a great house in the south east part towards Greenham but I would like to know if its a dodgy area. The price of the house is quite low even though it ticks most of the boxes, more so than other more expensive properties. Can anyone help with advice please? than you!

As with all towns there are good/bad roads on each estate. It depends on the road I think . I lived there many years ago when it was a smaller town, it has so much more to offer now and I love visiting there.

Yes Newbury really seems charming and quite a happy place. It's just hard making sure we get it right when we really don't know the area at all so I think we may just try to spend a bit of time down the roads we find suitable properties on.
