T or L shaped kitchen/living space?

We are trying to plan our kitchen extension and trying to get an idea on costs.

We have 3 options which we would assume have increasing levels of cost.

The middle option would give us a kitchen/ dining space which would be a T or P shape space. Does anyone have this? Does it work?

We have an L shaped kitchen - we have the units along one side and a table in the other. I can draw a diagram if you want to see how it is laid out. The thing I would watch is where the entry points are. We also have a conservatory so there is no direct light where the table is so it can be a bit dark if the weather isn’t great.
