Anyone recommend a builder in Esher, Surrey without the Esher price tag!

We were lucky enough to inherit a house in Esher which we now want to demolish and build a new house. Currently working on plans with an architect and have been quoted around £200-230 per sq metre, which we think will be ok. I’m just worried that as soon as we mention Esher the price is going to sky rocket! We are not the usual wealthy Esher types, we were just lucky enough to inherit a house here. Can anyone recommend a good builder that doesn’t cost the earth that would work around here? Thanks!

He gets very booked up though so you may have to wait several months to a year. Good reputation locally though and I don't think his costs are outrageous.

Thanks, will take a look. We aren’t planning on starting until 2022 anyway so that shouldn’t be an issue. Need our plans first before we can get quotes too!

Yes be ready to be shafted. We used Plus Rooms for an extension and I wouldn't recommend them for a full build anyway but just be aware if employing a team from out of the area we had lots of issues with them not turning up on time etc. Afraid I don't know any local builders who won't cost the Earth but I'm sure there must be - take a look at companies in Claygate and Chessington.

My neighbours are having their extension done currently by KT5 building services and we keep saying how impressed we are so far (from the spying on them we are doing). Seem very nice lads and the work looks great, so far anyway.
