Any ideas at the moment?

Ours took 12 days with RBS, including an in-person mortgage valuation and two bank holidays during that time. I was very impressed!

About two weeks from when I submitted the last of the documents they requested.

So nerve-wracking even when you know there's no real reason it should be denied. Good luck, OP!

Less than ten days. We were pleasantly surprised

RBS didn't take long. Zoom call for the application which was approved subject to survey. Valuation was 2 weeks later, 2 days after that our mortgage application was approved

Santander was roughly 3 weeks (this was last year though)
Our buyer is Nationwide and that was less that 2 weeks. (Desktop valuation as they weren’t taking out massive % mortgage)

Ours took 4 days with nationwide, I was very impressed.

Our mortgage broker submitted the application on Thursday and said the valuation should be booked for this week 🤞

Ours took 3 days, Halifax via London & Country. I submitted one payslip and that was it.

Very easy!

SpnBaby1967 · 09/05/2021 17:18

Ours took 3 days via halifax. We had a broker sort it out though if that made any difference.

pinksnowball · 09/05/2021 19:55

Our 4 days was a direct application to nationwide, no broker involved.

Oh good to know - was told NatWest currently 2-3 weeks??!
