Norfolk anyone?

Thinking of relocating to Norfolk. It's so cheap up there but still only 3 hours from family, so can easily visit.

Can anyone recommend areas to look at and areas to avoid. I have 2 primary school aged children.

Thank you!

Did OP say they wanted to live "somewhere"; they implied they wanted to live within 3 hours travel distance from their family, who could be in Canterbury or Leeds for all we know. Not everywhere in Norfolk is 3 hours drive from those cities; most of Norfolk is >> 3 hours travel distance by other modes to those cities.

Where are your family because the traffic times very so much!!!

Take a look around Aylsham Op. Good market town, plenty of independent shops. Not too far from North Norfolk coast and Holt. Plenty of nice villages in the area. Good and very popular High School so quite a lot of young people. BUT no train station, so you would have to be a taxi. Whereabouts are your family?

It takes more than an hour to drive across Norfolk so which bit is 3 hours from family?

How far from a hospital with a 24 hour A&E?
How far from a cinema? Gym?
What public transport?
Skate park? Swimming pool?

Make a list of the things in your life that are important.

Lovely walks with kids can lose their novelty by February, in the East wind.
