Buyer playing games?

We sold our house within 3 days of it going on the market. All seemed to be going well then buyer started having a tantrum about exchange and completion dates even though this hadn’t even been discussed, we brought our plans forward to accommodate him. We’ve signed documents and are ready to exchange and have agreed date to move, now find he hasn’t signed at his end. Fear he’s playing games but why ?

Well who knows? Hoping has he had the contract? I seem to always have mine ages before exchange is even discussed. If the solicitor has had no luck, ask the EA to chase him?

Is everything else in place?

Is his finance in place?

All queries been answered?
Searches back etc?

I agree , get your solicitor to ask what else is outstanding and why the sale docs haven't been signed and returned, and get the EAs to chase up too.

Who knows indeed!

Quite a bit more info needed for anyone to be able to offer any sort of insight.
