Estate agent being awkward!

Out of contract with my current estate agent the end of next week (for a number of reasons but mainly lack of viewings - unbelievably in this market!)

They are refusing to take of Rightmove until I'm out of contract. Is this legal does anyone know?

Yes it is legal if it is part of your contract. You don't have to allow viewings though. It probably wouldn't stand up in court, but it'll take you longer to get there that wait it out.

Alternatively you could pay to get out of the contract early. But it hardly seems worth it.

Are you planning to list it with a different agent?

There's nothing in the contract. It's just one page.

If you aren't getting viewings anyway why don't you just leave it? I can't see what harm it is doing.
