Spot the unusual pet in this listing (light relief)

When we listed our house we were advised to hide all evidence of our pets. Clearly these vendors didn’t get the memo! Nice house though.

I think it's an ornamental one. In the photos, it doesn't seem to change position.

But there’s food in front of it in one shot, no?

It is on the bottom step in one photo and the top step in the next. There is movement, just very slow.

I zoomed in and it's blurry but it looks like it could be a baby one as you can just make it the legs. But I think they're both statues.

Interesting. I don't see steps, I see carpet/rug then marble tiles. Its back foot looks like it's on the rug in both shots so I'm not sure it's moving.

I may of course have been blinded by the pink bathmat.

I can't work out if it's an ornament or pet - the whole room is a bit of an optical illusion. The viewing chair for the bath is a bit odd too 😆

Definitely ornamental.

Tortoises aren't that slow moving, it would have moved. Also think it just looks a bit too dark.

I love the ad though. It looks real and lived in. I hate the sterility of most ads - I want a home not a showroom, so I like to see how they 'live' in it.

Surely not a real tortoise? It's too big for a normal one and I can't imagine you can keep the giant variety as pets 🤷‍♀️?

I reckon they work for a flooring company and it’s their showroom. I could stand all that variety of shiny floor.

The coffee table, large square, glass, looks like a tank of s9me sort to me. But not for a tortoise...

It hasn’t changed position. The photos are from two different camera positions, look at the sofa in each one. The ornamental tortoise is in exactly the same place.

It has a little baby tortoise I’m front of it!
