hot tub removal

We are in the process of buying a property which has a hot tub. I don't think we are hot tub people so I am wondering how easy they are to remove? Do they leave an almighty mess behind? I know you can buy second hand ones on ebay but don't know if removing them is an utter ball ache or we should just leave it and turn it into a big flower pot or something!

If you sold it on eBay the buyer would be responsible for collecting it and all costs related to collection. It depends what type it is but unless it's dug into the patio somehow they don't leave any mess behind. They just sit on top of the patio weighing a ton.

We sold an 8 person hotspring hot tub several years back and even though it was used the buyer was able to pay hotspring to come and dismantle it and rebuild at their house. It cost them £950 to move as they were charged by the mile.

Don't knock them until you've tried them though - I would have one again like a shot if we had space.

You won't know if you like it until you try it. G'wan, give it a whirl.

If you can’t get it of the house due to no access then you need a crane to hoist it out and take it wherever the hotub in the sky is 😂
Failing that you need a week off work a sledgehammer and a grinder ( with extra blades ) 😂 chop it up - be prepared for a huge amount of mess the inside of a hotub is unreal
Can you tell that I’ve watched my DH do this 😂

Personally I would keep it at least one winter and see if you like it
They are amazing in the winter and brilliant for any sort of aches and pains
And if we have another lockdown at least you won’t be bored 😂

Might be an ice breaker with the neighbours.

Your neighbours would live you to remove a sex pond 😂
Just ask the vendors to remove it?
