Does anyone have a tower/column shower?

Due to have a bathroom refurb soon, and DP is set on having on of these showers. I am intrigued by the body jets, but not completely sold on it.

The builder also says he thinks they are great but I’m worried as they don’t seem to be very common. There are quite a few available online but not many reviews. The ones that do have reviews tend to be very positive but there is the odd one that says the pressure isn’t very good when using the different functions at the same time, or that you do not have the option at all of using the functions together which defeats the purpose.

It looks like it will blast you away in the morning, but I’m worried in reality it will be closer to a piddle of water (in a similar way that my shark vacuum looks and feels like it’s going to shred the room but is defeated by a dreamie).

I also can’t find many posts about them on forums for real experience, and I don’t fully trust customer reviews are always genuine.

Has anyone had one installed? They are obviously slightly bulkier than your usual mixer showers, but we are having quite a big shower enclosures installed so I’m not too worried about that.

We had one in our last house. It was very good but we have very high water pressure in this area.

Defeated by a dreamie Grin nothing helpful to add.

No experience of using one but I've always thought they seem like a pain in the arse to clean and a bit of a gimmick that wouldn't get used much like jacuzzi baths.
