Perfect bathroom help

Ok so maybe not perfect but please help me design my bathroom.

I have a late Victorian house - bathroom is 3m x 2.6m or thereabouts. I'm thinking of a 1200 x 800 shower, a vanity unit - traditional painted wood? I want classic but not old fashioned or too modern....

At the moment we have a roll top bath which I could re-paint and re-enamel. Or we could buy a nice new freestanding bath? And colours / tiles?? What to do? I like blues / greens. Thinking maybe the tiles that look like wood on the floor and big tiles on the walls but only halfway up.

Does anyone have any great design ideas? Any do's or don'ts?? Especially on tiling. Any favourites on houzz or Pinterest? I seriously feel overwhelmed with the choice.

Not sure I have great ideas but you could try these websites - Bayswater Bathrooms (try BC designs who I think own Bayswater and make their stuff but are generally cheaper) and Burlington Bathrooms.

Ca’Pietra and Fired Earth have some nice tiles for the floor and walls. Maybe patterned tiles on floor and metro tiles on walls?

Thanks @RhubarbRocks

There's so much choice isn't there? Wish I could afford an interior designer to suggest tiles / colours.

I really liked metro tiles but current bathroom has some small tiles and the grout lines are not good to clean! I've considered the waterproof board you can get (like Showerwall) but think tiles look better in a classic bathroom.

Trying to work out whether to keep the roll top bath and re-paint. The Burlington brochure has loads of similar baths but I wonder if I need to update it to something more like this watersbaths.co.uk/collections/elements

I can't believe how much time this is taking me!
